Australia’s Glenn Maxwell fell short of a well deserved century, as he was dismissed for 93, but his brilliant innings helped Australia to a massive score of 6/350 against Zimbabwe in first ODI at Harare.

He survived few close calls earlier in the innings but was eventually caught on the boundary for 93 runs from just 46 balls. He was second Australian to score a fifty today as Mitchell Marsh got out in similar fashion for 89 runs. Both men narrowly missed out on their respective hundreds.

However, the excitement did not end there as Maxwell’s departure meant Mitchell Johnson came to the crease, who wasted no time and started hitting the ball from the word go. He smashed a straight six straight into the commentary box window. The sound of ball smashing glass sent the commentators into hiding.
