In India’s tour of Australia 2016, during the third ODI, the visitors India while batting first scored 295 runs with the help of Virat Kohli’s 117 runs.  India had already lost the first two matches even after scoring three hundred plus runs on both occasions.

But Indian batsmen kept the momentum going in the third ODI. Australia, chasing the total, got a good start from Aaron Finch and Shaun Marsh. Umesh Yadav gave India the first breakthrough as he removed Finch.

But Australian batsmen were looking steady as they were playing Indian bowlers with ease.

However, during the match, we saw one fascinating moment. Indian bowler Barinder Sran’s outside off stump delivery was slashed through the cover; Umesh Yadav ran towards the ball, picked up, threw it to wicketkeeper MS Dhoni. Batsman Mitchell Marsh was unaware what was happening. Umesh Yadav’s rocket throw reached into Dhoni’s gloves before Marsh can reach the safety mark and Dhoni within a second dislodged the bails. Mitchell Marsh, he was shocked by all this,  was run out by a great fielding combination of Umesh Yadav and MS Dhoni.
