Bangladesh cricketer Soumya Sarkar took another stunning catch in WT20 2016 and this time against the host nation India.
It was the crucial match between India and Bangladesh at the Super 10 stage (Group 1) in WT20 2016, which was playing at Bengaluru on Wednesday night. After winning the toss, Bangladesh decided to bowl first.
The stunning catch happened at 16th over of Indian innings, when Indian batsmen were looking dangerous on the pitch in the front of Bangladeshi bowling. In the previous ball, set Indian batsman Suresh Raina was dismissed.
In the 15.2 overs, Indian batsman Hardik Pandya was facing Bangladesh pacer Al-Amin Hossain. Pandya played a flat shot towards the square leg boundary. Soumya Sarkar ran towards his left and made a superb dive for taking that extraordinary catch. He went for that catch with his both hands but finally he successfully grabbed that catch with his left hand. The catch changed the momentum of the game too.
