Brazilian football legend and arguably the greatest footballer of all time Pele has reached the ‘City of Joy’ Kolkata yesterday, Sunday, 11th October.

Pele comes back to Kolkata after a span of 38 years, the last time he came here was in 1977, when Pele’s New York Cosmos club played against Indian giants Mohun Bagan Athletic Club. The match ended in a 2-2 draw and it was played at the Iconic Cricket stadium Eden Gardens.

As the ‘Black Pearl’ of world football graces Kolkata with his presence, he was greeted today at a press conference by the former Indian cricket team captain and legendary player Sourav Ganguly.
