India is on the verge of a heroic win at the Wankhede and would be trusting themselves to wrap up the test series on the final day of the fourth Test tomorrow. There are many Indian players who deserve credit for this amazing performance by a well balanced Indian side. One of them is left-handed all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja who has bowled splendidly over the course of the series. Jadeja has also contributed with the bat in the series but his spin bowling was the main point of attraction.
Jadeja has dismissed the England skipper four times in the series which prevented the batsman from making it a fruitful one. Cook is one of the finest batsmen the gentleman’s game has ever seen but has found it difficult to deal with the left arm off spinner. Ravindra Jadeja has been at the top of his game and on three occasions got the English skipper plumb in front of the stumps. On another occasion, Cook tried to play him stepping out of the crease and got himself stumped by Parthiv Patel. This is a wonderful achievement for a young Indian to bowl continuously on the spot and to trouble one of the best in the business.
