Video: Umesh Yadav Deceives Mominul Haque With A Brilliant Delivery

India pacer Umesh Yadav was on song on Day 3 of the one-off Test against Bangladesh, as the fast-bowler made most of the reverse swinging conditions to make Bangladesh’s stay difficult at the crease. He took the first wicket of Bangladesh’s innings on Day 2 (of Soumya Sarkar) and it was expected that India’s best pacer currently would strike the next day too.
In the 25th over, Umesh bowled a delivery which nipped back in off the pitch at a perfect length and the southpaw failed to make contact with the ball.
Indian fielders went for the appeal and without any doubt, the umpire raised his finger. The accuracy of the delivery can be judged by the fact the batsman did not even ask for a review and decided to walk back to the pavilion.
TV replays also showed it was a clean dismissal.
This wicket helped Indian team continue their domination in the first session of Day 3 as the home team scalped three wickets at the cost of just 84 runs.
