Indian batsman Virat Kohli is one of the best cricketer of his generation. He has been scoring runs like a machine and there is nobody who can beat Virat at least in 2016. In the 2016 IPL Virat has scored a record-breaking 972 runs in this seasons. He was also the adjudged man of the series in four consecutive tournaments. But, Virat Kohli faced the biggest insult of his cricket career in the 2015 World Cup quarterfinal match against Bangladesh Rubel Hossain gave a dreadful send off to Indian batsman Virat Kohli at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
Both Virat and Hossain share a bitter relation as one couple of occasions they got involved in an on-field brawl. In the 2011 World Cup inaugural match, Kohli was manhandled by Hossain as the pacer had debilitated to toss the ball towards the Delhi cricketer.
In the 2015 World Cup quarterfinal match at it seems Hossain didn’t forget the 2011 moment, as his outside off stump delivery kissed Virat, who was trying to play a drive away from his body caught by the wicketkeeper, Mushfiqur Rahim.
There are also reports that Hossain and Kohli were also involved in a fight when they were playing a U-19 World Cup in 2008.
But in the 2015 World Cup when Hossain came to bat and got out, Kohli didn’t show such emotion but he went to Hossain and shook his hand.
However, the MCG is the same venue where the former Australian bowler Mitchell Johnson had a spat with Virat Kohli.
