Indian captain Virat Kohli has dominated English bowlers all through the day three ever since he came on to bat on the third ball of the day’s play after England managed to dismiss Cheteshwar Pujara in the very first over of the day.
The Indian skipper had hardly put a foot wrong all through the day’s play as he has yet again clinched another massive unbeaten hundred in the third Test as India get a strong foot in the game.
India finished the day’s play with 51-run lead thanks to the excellent contribution from Murali Vijay and Virat Kohli coupled with handy contributions from lower order.
However, the moment of the day is not the classy hundreds of the elegant batsmen or the double strike by Joe Root which was also a surprise for many observers of the game. Despite all the action, during the ending stages of the game,
England has appealed for the dismissal of Jayant Yadav over an edge to the keeper. However, on-field umpire Bruce Oxenford has decided it as not out.
England was disappointed but could not review the decision as they used up both of their reviews in failed pursuit earlier.
The batsman in action was Jayant Yadav who nicked the ball but was lucky to stay at the crease. There was a faint edge which was only seen in the ultra edge.
But Virat Kohli has seen the funny side as he trolled England captain to go for review knowing that the English side have already used up their reviews.
Here is the video where Virat was seen trolling Captain Cook
