Kolkata Knight Riders

No sooner did the WT20 2016 end, the IPL (Indian Premier League) fever has begun.  The 9th edition of IPL tournament will begin from 9th April 2016 and it will last till 29th May 2016. Before the beginning of that tournament, the two-time IPL champion Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) published a video with a new catch phrase.

As many as 8 teams will participate in the IPL 2016. KKR, based in Kolkata, is one of the founding team in this tournament who has won the tournament twice. KKR is owned by famous Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan in partnership with Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla and her spouse Jay Mehta.

After a disastrous start in the first 3 editions of IPL, KKR fought back and clinched 2012 and 2014 IPL trophy. In the 2016 IPL, KKR is one of the favourites who can win the cup.

From the beginning of IPL, KKR has a famous official song which goes by “Korbo Lorbo Jitbo Re”. It received a very positive response and gradually became an official team song for KKR team.

Now just before the beginning of IPL 2016, KKR launched a new video to support their team and bring them closer their fans. This chant is named as “AmiKKR” or “IamKKR”. The chant has gone viral in the social media and received a huge response from fans.

Have a look at the video of this new chant below.
