Vijay Hazare Trophy 2016/17: Jharkhand Game Delayed Due To Fire In Dwarka Hotel

The Vijay Hazare Trophy game between Jharkhand and Bengal have been postponed by a day due to fire in a hotel in Dwarka, Delhi where Jharkhand team was staying.
As per a report in ABP News, the kit of players also caught fire. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the Jharkhand skipper was safely taken out of the hotel.
BCCI later made it official that the game has been postponed by a day and will now be played on Saturday i.e. March 18. The final of the tournament has also been pushed back by a day and will now be played on March 20. Both the games will be played at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in Delhi.

Semi-final between Jharkhand and Bengal will now be held at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium on Saturday, March 18.

Jharkhand qualified for the semi-final of the tournament by defeating Vidarbha in the quarterfinal game played at Palam ground. Dhoni finished off the game in style by smashing a six off Ganesh Satish. On the other hand, Bengal had to fight tooth and nail against Maharashtra to qualify for the semi-finals.
The winner of the game will be taking on Tamil Nadu at Feroz Shah Kotla on March 20 in the final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2016/17.
