Indian Cricket team gathered at the Melbourne Cricket Ground to celebrate MCG Cricket Family day. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma took the centre-stage during the event.

To celebrate the Commonwealth Bank Test Series and to kick start the school holidays for kids, Cricket Australia will be hosting Cricket’s Family Day at the MCG. Families can look forward to a day filled with cricket fun at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, including watching members of the Australian and Indian teams train and even having the chance to meet their cricket heroes.

Cricket’s Family Day at the MCG will also feature a variety of free activities including carnival rides, MILO in2CRICKETgames and MILO T20 Blast activities, while roving entertainers will be set up on the MCG external concourse, outside Gates 1, 2 and 3. Fans will also have the opportunity to have a photo taken with the ICC Cricket World Cup trophy, located at the Outfield outside Gate 3 of the MCG.

To top off a day of cricketing excitement, those attending will have the opportunity to explore the cricket viewing rooms and to sit in the same seats as the Australian cricketers do during a match!

Here is what the BCCI had to tweet on it:
