The Indian team has left to Sri Lanka for the Test match series which is all set to begin on August 12th. Recently, the Indian captain visited Colombo’s ministry of crab restaurant owned by the legendary duo of Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardena.

“Ministry of Crab is a maiden innings for me & I hope this partnership with my long time batting partner Kumar & our new coach Dharshan will be a knockout. Hope you all will be bowled over,” Jayawardene said on the restaurant’s website.

“Welcome. Ministry of Crab is a celebration of Sri Lanka; our heritage and our wonderfully fresh and diverse ingredients. For me, this is the realisation of my dream to be part of a culinary experience that I hope will enthral your taste buds and leave you happy, and wanting more. Enjoy,” said Sangakkara, who will retire from international cricket after the 2nd Test against India this month. The pair might soon start a restaurant in India as well.

The Indian Test skipper went to the restaurant on Tuesday night and posted some pictures on his Insagram and Twitter account.

This is what he had to say:

“Absolutely smashing meal at Ministry of Crab last night. Thank You @MahelaJay and @KumarSanga2 :),”

Thanks to mahela and sanga for a smashing meal. #ministryofcrab is brilliant
