Virat Kohli told Sourav Ganguly that he wants to win like you. Kohli added that he has seen many players getting respect from the opposition players and Ganguly got it after he lead India to several famous victories , including the way he handled the youngsters and brought aggression in the team.

Virat Kohli added that he wants the team to get respect from the opposition team , every time they walk onto the field , rather than the team being seen as one which can be easily defeated. Virat Kohli said so when Sourav Ganguly asked him on why he gets so emotional on the cricket field.

The Delhi batsman scored 692 runs in the recently concluded series and took over the captaincy from MS Dhoni , who retired from Test cricket .

Virat Kohli also went on to become the only captain in the Test history to hit 3 Test centuries in his first 3 Tests as captain
