Virat Kohli might not be having best of days with the bat , but the breaking news will surely please his fans. The news coming from England states that Karan Johar has signed Virat Kohli for his upcoming film ‘  Kabhi Chauka Kabhi Chhakka.’ The report says that this all started after Karan Johar and Virat Kohli had dinner together and the talks for the film started and has finally settled down after Kohli agreed to play the lead role.

Karan Johar praised Kohli and said that he is supremely talented. Taking his busy schedule into account, Karan johar said that Kohli’s role will be shot within a maximum of 10 days and added that he is the hero and has a powerful role to play in the film.

Though Karan has not revealed other names of the film, but sources claim that the other stars are Kohli’s girl friend Anushka Sharma , Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor and Shahrikh Khan, may be for a short role.

Shahrukh Khan is expected to play the role of Kohli’s father and Amitabh Bachchan will be playing a short role , but an important one and has been paired opposite to Sherlyn Chopra.

Kohli has not yet performed up to the expectations in the ongoing English tour and this might well change his fortunes . No wonder why Karan johar is spending so much on this movie . Kohli is surely a youth icon in the country , where cricketers are next to none in therms of brand ambassadors.

Karan Johar is expected to spend around 250 crores on this movie and sources explain that he sees a young Shahrukh Khan in Virat Kohli. Only time will tell on how successful Kohli can be in this innings of his life. Earlier cricketers like Ajay Jadeja, Salil Ankola and few others have tried a hand on acting but with no big success.
