Virat Kohli’s special celebration after completing his century

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s captain Virat Kohli is certainly enjoying one of the best phases in his career so far. Entering the IPL without a T20 century, the right-hander registered his fourth century of the tournament to propel RCB to a huge total of 211 in just 15 overs. What makes this knock even more special is the fact that Kohli played this match with stitches on his left hand.
Kohli sustained a split webbing on his left hand while fielding against Kolkata Knight Riders as he went for a diving catch.
“I might need 7-8 stitches,” Kohli had said after the match against KKR on Monday. “But I don’t mind 10 stitches on my hand if we win the next two matches,” he said.
And true to his words, the champion played the match and led his team from the front and took RCB to a commanding position in the match.
An interesting sight was witnessed by fans when the Delhi batsman reached his century. After raising his bat to acknowledge the crowd’s applause, Kohli pointed his left hand to the dressing room and conveyed that he’s beaten both rain and the injury to notch up a brilliant hundred.Reports are suggesting that he had seven stitches on his left hand.
