Virender Sehwag Chills Out In Canada After Coaching Snub

Virender Sehwag was one of the strongest contenders to become the Head Coach of Indian cricket team but in the end, he found himself losing the race to Ravi Shastri, who got the backing from Indian skipper Virat Kohli.
Sehwag was the only person who attended the interview in person and it was learned that the CAC was quite impressed with his presentation. In all sorts, Sehwag was reported to be the front-runner but CAC bought some time to take a decision and the very next day, Shastri was handed the job.
Sehwag surely would have been a disappointed man but the former Indian opener found a unique way to tackle with it, as he travelled to Canada for a holiday to keep the disappointment away from himself. Here are few of the picture of his trip to Canada –
It can be said that skipper Virat Kohli had a say in Shastri ending up as the real winner, as Sehwag was the best man for it and also, he was pretty much serious for the job, which can be understood by the fact that he was the only person to make it to the BCCI headquarters.
This time again Shastri was not there in person, which was one of the reasons why didn’t get the job last year. So how is it possible that he was given the job this time around? This says it all that Shastri had a strong backing.
