There is a clear reason why the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is termed as the biggest cricketing party of the season. When cricket and especially T20 encounters are played in the Caribbean, fun and a festive mood is guaranteed, given the surroundings of the islands.
The current edition of the CPL isn’t any different, as the franchises battle it out to race towards supremacy.
During the game on the 14th of August between the Tribango Knight Riders and the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots, something extremely special was witnessed out in the middle. Chasing a moderate 159 to win the game, the Knight Riders were going decently into the chase, with Kiwi import Colin Munro calling the shots with his big hitting.
On the fifth delivery of the 12th over, however, something out of this world was witnessed, as Munro went for the switch hit against the leg spin of Samuel Badree. The southpaw got the height but not the distance as the ball was nowhere near clearing the boundary.
With the ball looming in the air, Pakistani pace sensation Hassan Ali dived full length to take an absolute blinder of a catch, to send Munro back to the hut.
However, the funniest part was yet to come, as after completing the catch, Ali set off doing a little jig, which left everyone laughing hysterically. Below, is the video of the incident with Ali taking the catch and then dancing.
