Watch: Indian Players Sweating It Out Ahead Of Ranchi Test

After enjoying a much-needed break following the series-leveling win in Bengaluru, the Indian team arrived in Ranchi on Monday (March 13) to prepare for the all-important penultimate Test of the Border-Gavaskar series.

The hosts had fallen behind in the series after suffering a humiliating 333-run defeat at Pune but bounced back in style in the second Test and defeated Steven Smith’s men by 75 runs to square the series. The DRS controversy has also become a talk of the past now and Virat Kohli’s men will be desperate to continue their winning run when they take on the Aussies in the third Test, which starts from Thursday (March 16).

Before resuming the battle, the Indian team was seen going through a rigorous practice session at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) Stadium. In a series of tweets posted by the BCCI, the players looked very sharp ahead of the match.

Wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha, who took a couple of brilliant catches to dismiss Steve O’ Keefe in the first Test and the other to get rid of Matthew Wade in the next, was seen polishing his dives with another gem of a grab.

In another video, Virat Kohli was seen practicing his shots. The India skipper has failed to do well in the series so far and would be keen to get back to form in the upcoming Test.
