After scoring only 98 runs in the first four innings of the ongoing series in India, David Warner was finally looking at ease while batting during the Ranchi Test. The explosive opener made a positive start and even hit his nemesis Ravichandran Ashwin for a four to make his intentions clear.

The 30-year old had raced to 19 off only 25 balls and just when he was looking to put an end to his poor form, he had to pay a hefty price for being over-ambitious as Ravindra Jadeja dismissed him on a full toss. The Aussie batsman had hit the Indian left-arm spinner for a four on the third ball of the tenth over and he tried to send the next delivery to the boundary too when Jadeja bowled a full toss. However, he sliced the delivery straight to the bowler who made no mistake in catching it. As expected, Warner was very disappointed and tossed his bat in the air and caught it before leaving the field.

Here is a clip of that dismissal:

An avid sports lover, i always wanted to pursue a career in football. But just like the millions out there i did not put in the hard work needed to achieve my dream and now i have become a fan instead of the player. Anyway, writing for sports has kept me closer to this field. One more thing, yours sincerely is a die-hard Liverpool fan.
