Virender Sehwag has always been known for his ‘see the ball, hit the ball’ approach while batting. The explosive right-handed former Indian opener is also known for his ‘sing a song, hit the ball’ approach.
The second approach was evident in the third match of the All Stars series match last November . Sehwag, as usual, opened the innings for Sachin Blasters
The Delhi dasher hummed Atif Aslam’s popular number ‘Tu Jaane Na’ while he dispatched Warne Warriors’ Allan Donald over the ropes. In the 2nd match also the former Indian opener was heard singing a famous Kishore Kumar song while batting.
Watch the video and see the carefree Sehwag at his belligerent best.
His carefree attitude even got better when Sehwag instantly hit the ball for a six over mid-wicket and it was just a flick off his pads. It happened on the last ball of the third over which Donald was bowling. Sehwag was that time wired up as he was talking to the commentators. That’s how everybody spotted him humming.
However, Warne Warriors won the match defeating the Sachin Blasters on the last ball of the match. It was Shane Warne who hit Virender Sehwag for a six to win the match for his team.
