On Friday, West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) announced 15 man squad for the 2016 World T20. Among them, 11 players were in the 2012 World T20 winning squad.

Currently, the no.1 T20 team West Indies is looking very strong for the WT20. Darren Sammy is selected as captain for the team. Off-spinner Sunil Narine is selected in the squad despite being suspended for illegal bowling action. Before playing World T20, he needs to prove his bowling action – legal.

Leg-spinner Samuel Badree will be making a comeback in the national squad after one and a half year later while left-arm spinner Sulieman Benn will be making a comeback in the national squad almost one year later.

On the other hand, most of the super power-hitters are in the squad like Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo, Andre Russell etc. 

2016 WT20 will be played in India from 8th March to 3rd April. West Indies is in the Group 1 of Super 10 round along with England, South Africa, defending champion Sri Lanka and qualifier 1B.
