West Indies players might not have boycotted the match but they still continue to protest against the West Indies Players Association over the payment issue by wearing the black armbands in their wrists during the 2nd ODI against India at New delhi today. They have demanded the resignation of the the WIPA president Wavell Hinds over this payment issue.
The players have asked the West Indies Cricket Association to look over this and settle this out. WICB did applaude the players over this issue and sadi that the players showed maturity by not boycotting the match, which could ahve lead to financial losses.
West indies won the first ODI by 124 runs and proving that they are not the under dogs for the series .
In a letter to Wavell Hinds, Bravo has explained him that the players have lost faith in him after he signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the West Indies Cricket Board , which will mean some financial losses to the players. In reply, Hinds explained his position and the circumstances under which he signed it.
West indies is currently leading the ODI series 1-0 and the second 1 is being played at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium at New Delhi. Dhoni won the toss and decided to bat first . Kohli has hown signs of coming back to form.
