Contrary to the hobbies followed by majority of the cricketers like expensive cars or collection of latest gadgets, this man is vigorously following his passion of horse riding. In one of his recent interviews, he admitted that spending time with horses at his farm is what he enjoys the most. He also loves to be with his old friends in his native place Jamnagar, Gujarat. Also, in a rather strange manner, he does not look worried in pressure situations and normally gives his best. He is one of the fittest athletes in team India. His running between the wickets is par excellence. He has got tremendous capability to adapt his stroke play as per the bowling attack.

He is one of the wittiest cricketers in the team. He has a specialty of developing an amazing chemistry with anyone batting at the other end. Yes, I am referring to the happy-go-lucky Ravindra Jadeja, who has once again won our hearts. He has done so by playing a sensational innings at Lord’s during the fourth day of the second test against England. The way he is developing, many of his fans do hope that he is going to play a very important role of a talented all rounder going forward.

Although he had displayed his wonderful batting skills earlier as well, especially his unforgettable contribution in winning the Champions trophy last year, but today’s splashing innings of 68 from Jadeja has become memorable. When Sir is in form, it is always a pleasure watching him playing his divine natural strokes. You will always come across a smiling face whatever the situation might be. Even in the first test, Jadeja had scored 25 and 31 runs. Incidentally, Sir Jadeja had topped the ICC ODI bowling rankings in the year 2013 -2014 by virtue of his stunning bowling performances. In the arena of bowling, he relies on his steady left arm spin, but his real strength is the natural variation he successfully generates. Perhaps this was the reason that this 25 year old all-rounder was bought for a hefty price tag of US$2 million by CSK for IPL.

Jadeja knows how to utilize his aggression in a fruitful manner. If India manages to pull off a win at Lord’s, Sir Jadeja will be the one who will be remembered as the true hero of this victory. Hats off!
