Prestigious cricket magazine and website Wisden Almanac has released the list of cricketers who played impactful innings in the history of Test cricket. It made two lists of 20 cricketers –both bowlers and batsmen- who have played match winning innings in the history of international cricket.

Surprisingly the list of impact batsmen in Test cricket does not consist none of the Indian batsmen. It left batting greats like Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman.

It also did not take legends like Ricky Ponting and Javed Miandad.

Among the current players, AB de Villiers sneaked in the list of impactful batsmen in Test cricket. AB de Villiers is on the third position among the top 10 cricketers, whose innings changed the course of the match in Test cricket. Pakistan’s batting great Younis Khan also featured the list.

The list of batsmen is topped by Don Bradman. Inzamam-ul-Haq has become the third Pakistani batsman after Younis Khan and bowler Imran Khan to feature in the list.

Among the list of top 10 bowlers, Anil Kumble is the only Indian bowler found a place in the list. The list is topped by Sri Lankan tweaker Muttiah Muralitharan. Among the current bowlers, Dale Steyn featured the list as the seventh impactful bowler. Steyn found his name ahead of bowling great Glenn McGrath.

However, the list left two Pakistani great Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis alongside Courtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh of West Indies.
