India’s veteran batsman Yuvraj Singh took to Twitter to wish his teammate Mahendra Singh Dhoni on his birthday.
The former India skipper, who turned 36 on Friday (July 36), just finished playing in the fifth One-Day International against West Indies when Yuvraj not only wished him but also reminded him of the cake that was waiting for him in the dressing room for the customary celebration.
“Many happy returns of the day to Mr. Helicopter @mahi7781 have a great day buddy, the cake awaits you 🤣🎂 🚁#happybirthday #cakesmash ,” the southpaw tweeted.

Yuvraj was already a guaranteed starter in the playing eleven when Dhoni made his One-Day International debut in December 2004. But within a year, the wonder boy from Ranchi not only cemented his spot in the team but also became one of India’s leading players in the 50-over format.
The duo played a significant part in India’s brilliant performances in limited-overs cricket in the second half of the last decade. They were also instrumental in India’s triumph at 2007 World T20 and the 2011 World Cup where Yuvraj was adjudged the Man of the Tournament.
Both the players are rightly considered as two of India’s greatest match-winners. Both the players are in the twilight of their respective careers but there is absolutely no denying that the fans are desperate to see them playing as long as possible.
Birthday boy Dhoni, meanwhile, is also the most successful Indian skipper of all time. Till date, he is the only captain to win all the ICC events in addition to guiding India to the pinnacle of Test cricket for the first time in 2009.
