The Champions League has a blockbuster day in store for football fans all across the world with four top teams competing in two matches. While Arsenal welcome Barcelona, Bayern travel to Juventus in what will surely turn out to be a great Champions League night.

Bayern’s game against Juventus has more history to it with both clubs going into the game as Champions of the respective leagues. Both teams are in a good run of form and unbeaten this month. It will be a clash of two clubs who fight till the very end and it will be cruel for one of them to be knocked out at this early stage of the competition.

Here are 5 things to look forward to in the epic encounter at Turin between Juventus and Bayern Munich:

1. Can Juventus continue to improve? :

After coming close to a treble last season, the Italian side was just not able to find consistent results at the start of this season. But slowly they have built up their confidence and now find themselves at the top of the table. But the real challenge lies up ahead where they will have to endure Pep Guardiola’s side over two legs to get into the next round. Can they knock the German giants out of the competition this early?

2. Will Vidal and Coman return to haunt Juventus? :

Juventus ended the last season as runners up in the Champions League thanks to some great performances from the likes of Arturo Vidal and Carlos Tevez. The Argentine striker left the club while Vidal moved to Bayern at the start of the season along with Coman. Vidal is a dynamic player who can dictate the mid-field and hurt his former side while Coman, a youngster who was allowed to leave the club and join Bayern has made 15 appearances for the side. Will any of these two have any role to play in this tie between the two giants?

3. Can Bayern avoid injuries and find early season form?

Bayern have scored a joint high of 19 goals in the group stage and were looking unstoppable in all competitions. But Bayern have often been let down in the business end due to a number of injuries  over the past couple of season. Though they are better equipped this season to deal with such injuries, they will have to find the form that they were in at the start of the season if they want to push aside the clubs like Juventus.

4. Can Allegri mastermind another upset?

Allegri after being fired at AC Milan moved to Juventus amid a lot of criticism but his team’s performances in recent times have proved him to be a fine coach. He took his team to the final of the last year’s Champions League with victories over Borussia Dortmund, AS Monaco and most impressively Real Madrid in the semi-final. In that incredible run, the manager master minded a number of strategies according to the opponents and this game will not be any different for him. He will have already worked a plan out for the German giants and it will be interesting to see if he can get it to work and cause an upset in the round of 16 of the Champions League.

5. Can Dybala perform when it matters the most?

Easily the best performer for the Italian side this season, Dybala who made a move from Lazio to Juventus just this summer has adjusted to the life in Turin without any problems and will be the biggest threat for Bayern Munich on the night, Bayern have shown some defensive frailties this season and if Dybala can weave his magic, Guardiola’s men will have an awful lot to do at the back to stay in the game. Surely Bayern will be tested in Italy on Tuesday.
