Alexis Sanchez has his injury fitness is the key issue for all Arsenal fans ahead of their clash against Watford this weekend. Ahead of the kick-off at Vicarage Road, telegraph’s Jeremy Wilson gave a massive update on Sanchez’s hip injury as Gunners aim to top the Premier League table this weekend.

Wilson claimed that Sanchez has full recovered from the hip injury he had sustained during Chile’s World Cup qualifying games midweek. Sanchez’s fitness will be a major boost for Arsenal, who are expected to win against Watford and put pressure on Manchester City.

There could be a scenario that if Arsenal better City’s result this weekend, Gunners could leapfrog Manuel Pellegrini’s men to be the new Premier League leaders. City, without David Silva and Sergio Aguero will always be in a spot of bother.

Arsene Wenger had criticized Chile’s national team for not protecting Sanchez as the Arsenal forward was forced to play 90 minutes in both the encounters. Gunners take on Watford with one eye on the Champions League clash against Bayern Munich just 72 hours later, which is almost a do-or-die game for the Gunners.
