Aaron Ramsey has a rich history of scoring goals which have supposedly brought upon doom for many a celebrities over the years. The Welshman has ‘claimed’ the lives of people as varied as an international terrorist to a singer to an accomplished actor to the leader of a technology giant.

The “curse” had supposedly gone away as all had been quiet on the deaths front for a year or so but has returned over the New Year as the player has scored two goals in a stretch of 4 days and has seen two more celebs succumb to the reaper.

The player has been in great form over the week as he scored two goals, one each against Sunderland and Liverpool in the FA Cup and Premier League respectively. The goal against the Black Cats brought with it the news of David Bowie, a celebrated musician, passing away within 48 hours.

His death brought with him an international mourning as did Alan Rickman’s death, who passed away at the age of 69, losing a battle with cancer. He was declared dead within 24 hours of Ramsey’s goal against Liverpool in the midweek Premier League tie.

The list of celebs include terrorists Osama bin Laden and Muammar Gaddafi, the technological entrepreneur Steve Jobs, musicians Whitney Houston and David Bowie, NBA player Ray Williams and actors Paul Walker, Robin Williams and Alan Rickman. A Russian businessman Boris Berezovsky was a surprise target for the Welshman.

The curse seems to be back with a vengeance for the New Year as Ramsey is given the moniker “Angel of Death” due to his assassinating exploits. He will surely have a real moment of indecision as he scores his next goal for the Gunners.
