Manchester United and Leicester City target Ahmed Musa is content with the interest shown by the Premier League clubs. The Nigerian forward is renowned for his dribbling skills, composure, versatility and defensive efforts he put up in the game. The 23-year-old CSKA Moscow player has voiced his delight to attract interest from the world’s toughest league, but pointed out that he will not force the Russian club to sell him.
Ahmed Musa is compared to Jesus Navas and Arjen Robben for his pace and attacking instinct to dash into the box and finish well, and has been in wish-list of many clubs, Manchester United and Leicester City being a few.
Reports say that CSKA Moscow denied a bid from Leicester City for 15 million pounds, and are adamant on 20 million pounds. Musa spoke to Russian newspaper R Sport that how pleased he is in the current scenario.
“Of course, I am very pleased to hear that.” Musa told the newspaper.
“I would like to test myself in a strong championship, but it will happen when it should happen.”
“CSKA decides everything that will happen, our leadership will decide. If they agree on something, so I will go, then I move on, and if they consider that I stay, I will stay with pleasure.”
Musa has been in middling form for the Russian side, scoring only 10 goals in 29 appearances for the club across all competitions. He has also gained 23 international caps for the Nigerian side, scoring 11 times.
The forward who can also be deployed as a winger is top priority for Leicester who are looking for a talent to bolster the attack, which is already thriving- all thanks to Rihad Mahrez and James Vardy. Meanwhile, Manchester United had also been struggling to score goals at ease, who are tracking a long list of players.
