Manchester United midfielder Anderson looks set for United exit after cancelling his contrcat in order to join Brazilian side Internacional. Anderson, who has played just 20 minutes in the Premier League this season is on course to sign a 5 Year Contract with Internacional later today.

Anderson joined United with a big reputation in a £25 Million deal from Porto back in 2007. Anderson was tipped to be the next Roy Keane because of his tackling abilities and drive from mid-field. Anderson will be fondly remembered by the United fans for his one-off display against Cesc Fabregas in a game against Arsenal in 2008 where he had Fabregas second guessing for the ball and space in the entire game.

Unfortunately, Anderson’s career never took off from there. His alleged love for fast food took his weight and career to a whole new low. Anderson has been seen as a misfit for more than couple of sesons now. Anderson was sent on loan to Fiorentina last season to revive his sinking career but it brought further shame for the Brazilian. Anderson managed to play just 7 games for the Italian side and created only 3 chances.

As per the reports, Anderson has already flown to Brazili to complete his move to Internacional in time to play in Copa Libertadores later this week. Juan Mata gave his farewell to Anderson on his blog. In his recent article, Mata wrote, “I want to wish good luck to my friend Anderson, who is back to football in his native Brazil. All the best, my friend!”

Anderson could have started the clearout Van Gaal has been speaking about in his recent press conferences. Van Gaal has clearly indicated that United will not be making any further additions to their squad on Deadline Day, however there could be few departures. One man who could join Anderson on his way out of Old Trafford could be Darren Fletcher.

After spending 20 years with United The Scotsman is looking for a new club as Van Gaal can not promise him a regular first-team action. Fletcher has seen talks with West Ham wither away and West Brom looks like Fletcher’s most probable destination before the deadline day ends later today.
