Indian Super League outfit FC Goa have signed free agent and former Arsenal player Andre Santos.

Earlier, FC Goa also announced Arsenal legend Robert Pires as their marquee signing. The Brazilian left-back will join the team soon ahead of the start of the Indian Super League. Andre Santos has played 24 times for teh Brazilian national team and is a youth product of Figueirense in Brazil. 

Santos joined Arsenal from Turkish outfit Fenerbahce in 2011 for €7 million, but failed to impress and was loaned to Gremio in Brazil. Soon he made a permanent move to Flamengo signing a new contract. He was released by Flamengo on 15 August,2014.

Santos made 25 appearances for Arsenal, scoring 3 goals. FC Goa have also acquired Dempo SC duo, Tolgay Ozbey and Haroon Amiri. Australian striker Tolgay Ozbey played for East Bengal after having successful stints at Australlia and Turkey.
