Former Manchester United Star Reveals Some Extraordinary Secrets You Don’t Even Know

Former Manchester United player Angel di Maria has dismissed claims that suggested that he could have moved to Barcelona instead of Manchester United. The Argentine was one of the most decorated players in the world when he secured a move to Premier League after a series of top class performances for Argentina in World Cup 2014.
Speaking of the move, he said: “No, I left when I went to Manchester (and not Barcelona) because it was the best offer for Madrid and for me.”
Angel di Maria has moved to Manchester United in a British record transfer from Real Madrid in 2014. His poor form in his debut season at Old Trafford had ensured that his stint is cut down after just 12 months as he moved to PSG in a big money move.
When asked about a potential move back to La Liga in the near future, the Argentine has revealed how his time at Old Trafford has now affected his long term planning:
“I do not think it, really, not because I do not want to say it. But many things can happen in life.
“I thought (Man) United were going to fulfil my contract, so I do not know what can happen tomorrow. You always have your head where you are and then you will see.”
PSG are set to face Barcelona in the Champions League next week as both the side meet at Parc des Princes in the first leg to fight for a place in quarterfinals.
Speaking ahead of the crunch fixture, di Maria has expressed his admiration for his international teammate Leo Messi.
He said: “Leo is different from the rest and when he’s okay, anyone is well. It happens to us when we are in the national team, but I think that Barca have great players. MSN is the best attack right now.”
Despite his relatively poor performances for Manchester United, Angel di Maria is still considered one of the best in the world and will play a huge role in the upcoming clash against Barcelona next week.
