According to Merseyside football writer of The Times Tonny Barrett that The 18-year-old Jordan Rossiter Liverpool midfielder who was playing for Under-19 England returns from his international duty with a hamstring injury after playing three games in the space of five days for England Under-19.

In a development which will further inflame tensions between Liverpool and the Football Association in light of Joe Gomez being ruled out for the rest of the season, Rossiter will also be unavailable for Jürgen Klopp’s first game as manager against Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow as his club await the results of a scan on his injured hamstring.
