Anthony Martial Has Taken A Drastic Step To Save His Man United Career

Players have often taken drastic steps to rediscover their form when the chips are down.
The former Italian international Giuseppe Signori, for example, walked barefoot across hot coals to solve his issues with form while with Bologna in the 90s.
And now, after holding talks with the club Anthony Martial has taken a step of his own in order to rediscover the form that saw him so highly lauded last season.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Frenchman has had his parents move in with him to help save his career at Old Trafford.
Manager Jose Mourinho and his coaching staff are said to be so concerned with the youngster’s form that they held talks with the player to find out if he was losing his focus.
And now the report claims that his parents have left France to move in with him in the Manchester area to help him get over a disappointing Euro 2016 campaign and a difficult start to the domestic season.
Mourinho is also said to be concerned about Martial’s welfare after he broke up with partner Samantha Jacquelinet recently. The pair have two children together, Toto and Peyton.
The move seems to have been working recently, too. Martial has been in good form as of late, scoring a brace earlier in the week to fire United into the EFL Cup semi-final.
It has come at the right time, as well, as the Mirror claims Martial could still cost United a further £8.4million.
His goals against West Ham took him to four for the season, and should he find the net four more times that will make 25 since he signed from Monaco two summers ago, thus triggering another payment.
However, if Martial can rediscover his form and start scoring on a more regular basis then we’re sure United will happily stump up the extra cash.
He could start this weekend when the Red Devils travel to Goodison Park to take on Everton.
Results elsewhere this weekend means that West Bromwich Albion have leapfrogged the club into sixth, and given what United have spent that should be a huge wake-up call.
