Antonio Conte: There Are 6 Teams Who Can still Win The Premier League

Antonio Conte believes six teams can still win the Premier League – despite Chelsea extending their lead at the top to 10 points.

Antonio conte’s Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley at Turf Moor – only the second time this season they have dropped points to a team outside the top six. But because of Tottenham’s defeat at Anfield 24 hours earlier, the result actually moved further clear.

Boss Conte though refuses to get carried away. “There are 13 games before the end of the season and if someone think this league is finished, I can tell you now, no,” he said.

“There are six teams for me that can win the league and anything can happen. We have to think only of ourselves, not the others. It is important to play your game to think only of your game and then you think of the other results. We must continue to work in this way.”

Conte was disappointed with the result but not the performance against a Burnley have the third best home record in the top flight.

After Pedro gave Chelsea an early lead, Robbie Brady equalised with a superb free-kick on his home debut for Burnley.

He said: “I’m disappointed with the result but not for the commitment and the will to win. I always like to take three points.

“It was a tough game but we know the situation. Burnley, at home, is one team and away is another. When you have 29 of your 30 points at home it means you are very tough at home.

“We must be very disappointed because we started very, well created chances and we scored. In the second half we tried with all our strength to win the game but it didn’t happen. It is a pity but we tried to play football, to create chances and against a strong team.”

John Terry was ruled out of the Chelsea’s squad after suffering a gashed leg in a training ground collision with Marcos Alonso.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche felt the draw was a fair result. He said: “It was a sublime free kick against a top-class goalkeeper who is a giant of a man.

“Chelsea are top class, not just because of way they are in the league table. Pockets of their play are excellent.
