According to Dailystar, the newly allotted Chelsea’s Italian boss Antonio Conte is not at all impressed with Chelsea midfielder Oscar and is willing to axe the Brazilian superstar from his team to generate some funds for the summer transfer window. The Italian will take over from Guus Hiddink as manager at the end of the 2015-16 season. There are also some rumors claiming that Conte has already offered the Brazilian to previous Seria A club Juventus for only £35m.
The premier league defending champions were linked with the Italian champions in 2014-15 season too, but the club authorities denied that it was their choice and said the player himself wanted to leave and make a switch to the Italian giants.
This season has been a disaster for Oscar as he wasn’t up to his potential and performed poorly. Inconsistency has been the only consistent thing for Oscar this season, and in spite of his immense talent, Chelsea is not satisfied and need a replacement as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Juventus, on the other hand, are said to be desperate to sign him in. Back in 2012, Oscar scored his debut goal and brace for Chelsea in a Champions League group stage match against The Old Lady. The 24-year-old Brazilian scored an awesome brace in that clash with Juve, which made him fan’s favorite at the Stamford Bridge. A £4 million a year deal is expected to be offered from the Seria A champions Juventus for Oscar, but considering the Brazilian’s on-going poor run of form they will surely try to negotiate a lower selling price with Chelsea. Oscar is a gem but his recent performances have let the Chelsea supporters down, now it is Conte’s decision to make, releasing him at a low price will surely be a big loss to the club.
