Premier League giants Arsenal FC have officially announced 27 members squad for their upcoming pre-season Barclays Asia Tour to Singapore. Gunners talisman Alexis Sanchez and custodian David Ospina will not be a part of the 27 men squad which will be travelling to Singapore. Both players had played in the recently concluded Copa America and are on holidays.

Among the other notable absentees, Danny Welbeck and Thomas Rosicky will be staying back in England to recover from minor injuries.

In the club’s official website Gunners boss Arsene Wenger said: “Calum has decided to shorten his holiday and come back on Friday. He didn’t play in the under-21s and needs preparations.

“Welbeck isn’t completely recovered from the problem he had [at the end of last season]. He’s not back in full training so he will stay behind.
