Arsene Wenger has been a rather busy man this summer. Though he has not been able to add too many players to his squad, he has been on a constant look out for top class talent and is still looking for possible additions with less than a week left for the start of the new season.
The manager has missed out on most of his top transfer targets in Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez, Gonzalo Higuain, Mauro Icardi and Alexandre Lacazette and though he may yet get his hands on Lacazette it is now reported that Arsenal are ready to make a move for out-of-favor Real Madrid duo in the coming days.
Recent reports have revealed that James Rodriguez and Isco, two fringe players at Real Madrid are currently unsettled at the club after it was revealed that they have fallen down the pecking order to Alvaro Morata in the side next season.
The Spanish international Isco, will be fit for Wenger’s style of play while his versatility will also help the manager when needed in the next season.
His skill, temperament, technique and ability with the ball may see him play as a play-maker at the Emirates but he is also capable of leading the line, something Wenger is in search of in the transfer market.
He is also linked with a move to AC Milan and Wenger needs to act quickly to get his man.
James Rodriguez, the other attacker who is also linked with a move to Arsenal even before the recent news that he is unsettled in Spain.
Spanish outfit Marca revealed earlier that an un-named club has made an official £71m bid for the player and that Real Madrid are calculating their numbers before deciding to sell their man this summer.
Though it is not expressly revealed that Arsenal have made a bid, their desperation to land an attacking star this summer is what has linked the club with a move for the Colombian international.
PSG are another club interested in the Colombian but Arsenal seems to be desperate and are also ready to splash the cash this summer.
Whoever Wenger moves for in the summer, the manager has to make sure that he fits into the style of play at the club and that he is good value for the money that is spent in the transfer window.
Do you think any of the two Real players will move to Arsenal this summer?
