Arsenal have made an offer to Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel to replace Arsene Wenger at the club next season, according to reports in Germany.
German Bild claims that the Gunners are in constant contact with Tuchel over a potential move as they are set to break their 21-year association with Arsene Wenger. Arsenal are in the middle of their worst form in over two decades as they have lost four of their last five Premier League games coupled with their embarrassing 10-2 loss to Bayern Munich in Champions League.
The 66-year old has come under immense scrutiny in the recent weeks and has not signed a new contract offered by the club to extend his stay beyond summer so far.
Tuchel, is regarded as one of the most technical managers in the world as he has managed to earn a name for himself after the departure of Jurgen Klopp from Dortmund, a couple of seasons ago.
He is one of the best young managers in the world and has earned plaudits for the attacking brand of football he has enforced in Dortmund style to get immense results for the club in the last two seasons.
The 43-year old enjoys an impressive 62% win percentage with the German giants and have guided them to quarterfinals in Champions League this season where they face AS Monaco.
A proven winner like Tuchel would be an ideal replacement for Wenger as his winning mentality could play a massive role in the approach of Arsenal players who have been particularly poor in the recent weeks.
However, it still remains to be seen whether Wenger will extend his stay or leave the club at the end of the season as he admitted to reveal about his future very soon.
