Despite the summer transfer window only closing at the beginning of this month, a report in Calciomercato claims that Arsenal are already looking ahead to the start of the next window in January.

It is reported that the 18-year-old is the priority signing of the summer for the Gunners according to report.

The young Belgian is one of the brightest prospects in the world and rated 12th among the most valuable young players in the world according to Soccerex.

Tielemans has also been linked with Chelsea and Atletico Madrid but Anderlecht are apparently asking for an unrealistic fee.

He has Champions League football to his name, and is set to pass the 100-game mark for Anderlecht in the coming weeks. He has also been called up to Belgium’s senior international side, although he has yet to make his debut for the Red Devils.

A central midfielder, Tielemans is well regarded for his attacking abilities from a deep-lying role, with both a strong goalscoring and creative reputation.

In his 92 appearances for his club, the youngster has scored 13 goals and created 13 more, and Tielemans has been playing at top form this season.

He has netted three goals and registered one assist in just six games, playing in various midfield positions, including one of the holding roles in a 4-2-3-1, as well as a wide runner in a 4-4-2 diamond midfield.

If Tielemans continues to perform at the level he has been, Arsenal will not be the only team to show an interest in the youngster, and the Gunners want to get ahead of their rivals by completing his signing in the January transfer window.

It is understood they want at least £14.4million for the midfielder, who has been capped at various youth levels for Belgium.

He scored six goals from midfield last season and went on a scoring spree with four in the last 12 games of the campaign.
