Arsenal and other Premier League clubs are on high alert as long target Real Madrid playmaker Isco reportedly handed his current club a transfer request.

The promising playmaker, who has been linked with several Premier League clubs, is keen to change the current scenario as the arrival of Mateo Kovacic from Inter Milan has cut short his first team football and now he has decided to part away with Real. Moreover he didn’t score in 14 appearances this season. According to Spanish media outlet Fichajes, Chelsea and Liverpool are also keeping an eye on Isco.

Reports are suggesting, Rafa Benitez would be going for a healthy £35m for a young prospect like Isco. His potential is quite clear for all to see, as he is just in the early years of his career.

The Real Madrid playmaker has been linked with top Premier League clubs in the last 2-3 transfer windows also.  Arsenal is now hoping to take advantage of the uncertainty over the player’s future in Real as Arsene Wenger is looking to bolster his midfield.

Wenger already has hand full of options in the attacking midfield zone, but may look for another option to take the pressure off  Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla, because both are not been able to take enough rest due to Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky’s  long time absence with injuries.

If Arsenal signs the 23-year-old Spaniard, Wenger would find valuable options going forward with Isco slotted alongside Ozil and Sanchez.
