The DailyStar claim Arsenal are all set to ruin Chelsea’s transfer plans by preparing a move for Kostas Manolas. Manolas has been identified as a primary target for the Blues, and yesterday’s reports are suggesting that the player’s agent was seen in London holding talks with the new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

Whereas many reports say that two years ago Arsenal tried to sign Manolas. However, they didn’t think Manolas was worth £12million, which was the asking price wanted by Olympiakos, Manolas’s current club back then. Arsene Wenger is thought to be well prepared for a big spending spree in the summer, as it looks like the Gunners will again fail to win the league title this season. Alvaro Morata, Granit Xhaka and Kostas Manolas will be the top targets for the Gunners in this upcoming summer window.

With Liverpool also highly linked with the Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Xhaka, who is one of the favourites of the Liverpool boss Klopp. So it is going to be a good fight for the midfielder and Liverpool provide tough competition for. The Gunners are willing to pay £30m or more to secure 23-year-old Xhaka deal and they are also ready to fight incoming bids from Chelsea manager Antonio Conte for Manolas.

Real Madrid can buy him back any time as they have a £23m buy-back clause for Morata. Arsenal already know the current market situation and they will do their best to make the deal done as they are keen on the 23-year-old. On the other hand the Spanish giants are considering bringing Morata back to the Santiago Bernabeu only to earn a huge profit ny selling him to the Gunners. Some reports also say that Manchester United are also interested also.

Wenger badly wants to strengthen his squad. A striker, a midfielder and a central defender, these are his top priorities for the summer, which he couldn’t manage do during the last window. But now, after another disappointing season, the Arsenal boss will not repeat his mistakes.
