According to latest reports, Arsenal look favorites to sign Barcelona star forward Pedro Rodriguez for just £7million. The Spanish International is also reported to be considering a move away from Camp Nou after being frustrated for not having enough playing time with Barcelona.

With Barcelona using star forwards Messi, Neymar and Suarez in most of the matches, Pedro could not get enough play time this season. The player’s lack of playing time caught the eyes of Premier League clubs Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool as they are all interested in the services of the player.

Barcelona are currently trying to find a new club for the 27-year old and reportedly offered him to Arsenal for a reported £7million transfer fee. The player is keen to move to North London club as he sees Arsenal as a potential destination for his career growth.

However, the manager claims that he is an integral part of the team and will not let Pedro leave Barcelona. He earlier said, “He’s important, a key player for us. He’s done what he needs to at all points during the season. He’s a great example for his teammates. He’s perfect in training, and whenever he’s needed, he’s there. It’s a pleasure having him.”

Tottenham, Chelsea and Liverpool are all in the race, but having tried to sign Pedro twice in the past, Arsenal are seen as the front runners.
