Arsenal is busy this transfer window from sealing it with Elneny to going all out to nail Aubameyang. Yet news fleeting from the Arsenal camps is not about a signing but a certain departure of a star.
Serge Gnarby is all set for a loan move to Championship club Brighton after a failed loan spell with the Baggies. Gnarby hasn’t received much game time at the Hawthorns stadium this season playing hardly 12 minutes of football in the first team which has prompted the Gunners to cancel the deal with West Brom. Highlighting the importance of Gnarby in the team, West Brom coach Pulis shed light on the reason behind keeping Gnarby on the bench for a major chunk of the season and said that “He’s not played as many games as he would have wanted to play. But he’s been good to have around the place. He was very unfortunate because he came here injured and I think people forget that. Once he was fit, fitting him into that team and what we were trying to do was difficult and then he picked up another injury so he’s had a bit of a topsy-turvy start.”
With the aim to bring new blood into the attack, Brighton boss Chris Hughton is eyeing to lure in Gnarby to the team set up and such a deal might also ring opportune for the Gunners as this would give the 20-year-old more game time and a chance to grow and earn his place at the Emirates stadium. Gnarby’s dedication and drive is voiced by truthfully by Pulis who remarked “For the kid if you speak to him, he wants to play week in week out.”
