According to reports, Arsenal have joined Liverpool and Juventus in the race for Barcelona‘s Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean international has been in brilliant form in the World Cup and according to news in Spanish media Barcelona want to offload him.

Reports in English media suggest that Arsenal want AC Milan‘s Mario Balotelli, but AC Milan will only sell him if Costa Rican striker Joel Campbell is included in the deal. Arsenal are set to offer AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli a deal worth £180,000 a week.

Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola told Sky Sports that the Italian striker is open to the move and anything is possible.

“Arsenal are a fantastic club,” he told Sky Sports.

“Will a transfer happen? Anything is possible.”

Arsenal have identified Mario Mandzukic as a target if the club fail to sign Mario Balotelli. The Croatian international is available for £15 million.

According to Marca, Carlos Vela will not be returning to Emirates and Real Sociedad are set to offer Arsenal £10m to waive their buy-back rights for Mexico forward Carlos Vela. The Mexico international was sold to Real Sociedad in 2012 for a fee of £3million but with a buyback clause in his contract, but Real Sociedad are ready to splash £16m to retain his services.

Thomas Vermaelen has made his intentions clear by asking Arsenal to let him join Manchester United. Manchester United are ready to offer £10million for the Arsenal skipper who has lost his place in the Arsenal side.
