It is all but clear that Arsenal stopper Wojciech Szczęsny is certain to join Serie A club AS Roma in coming few days and Arsene Wenger has already found a replacement for the departing Szczesny.

According to several Italian reports and trusted Di Marzio, Asrenal are lining up an offer for Marco Amelia, who has previously played for Livorno, AC Milan, Palermo and Genoa.

Arsene Wenger is keen to add competition for Petr Cech and David Ospina, who are club’s leading stoppers right now. Move to bring in a third goal keeper seems logical, however, bringing a 33-year old keeper, who has recently returned to the professional football (9 Feb 2015) does not sound too assuring.

Arsenal are building a great squad ahead of the 2015/16 season and want to be sure on all the fronts and one of them is the goal keeping area. Having already brought Petr Cech from Chelsea, Wenger is leaving nothing behind in preparing a solid group of players.

Elsewhere, Arsenal’s pursuit of a striker continues as news of Karm Benzema become a Gunner was squad by his agent claiming that his agent is staying at Real Madrid, with a possibility 1000%.
