The Gunners are in the middle of a serious battle for the Premier League title this season. But even with more than 4 months to go for the end of the season, rumors about the kit the players will be wearing for the next season have emerged on social media.

Arsenal signed a lucrative five-year deal with German franchise Puma £150m in 2014 after over a decade in contract with American rivals Nike.

The efforts of the German franchise to increase the brand value of the club has gone down well with the supporters so far but the same cannot be said about the new jersey that Arsenal will reportedly sport in the next season.

Providing a brief review of the 2016/17 shirt, Twitter user @Memz_Dogi uploaded an image they claim to be a preview of Arsenal’s home jersey next season. Here is the picture:

He writes: “Just seen the new 2017 Arsenal home kit for next season. Really don’t like it at all. The neck & a dark stripe down the middle.”

However, it will be impossible to confirm the rumor as Puma is highly un-likely to confirm or deny the rumors in a build up to a lavish unveiling of the 2016-17 official jersey.

Do you think the new jersey for Arsenal is better that the one this season?
