Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has finally responded to Jose Mourinho’s jibe of using a calculator. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho had earlier said that Arsene Wenger should use a ‘calculator’ to get an idea about the club’s spending in the last few seasons.

The war of wars started actually as Arsene Wenger had mentioned a few days back that it was impossible for his team in the past few years to win the title. Mourinho as a result tried to remind him that he had spent huge money for Alexis Sachez and Mesut Ozil in the last few years. The Portuguese manager had also commented a few days back his rivals are buying the title.

Now Wenger has finally spiced up the bad blood by replying: “One day you will look at the players we have developed here compared to the spending of other clubs and you will be surprised.

“I get different reproaches – that I don’t spend enough then I spend too much.

“I let other people talk.”

Wenger sounded confused as he mentioned that sometimes he faces criticism for not spending much and again now Jose Mourinho is accusing of spending more and winning nothing.

The rivalry between the two great managers have reached a new level even before the start of the league. Arsenal and Chelsea face each other at the Wembley stadium on Sunday, 2nd August for the Community Shield final.

Last season during a game at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League the manager were involved in an ugly fight when Wenger had pushed Mourinho on the sidelines.
