The Indian Super League will kick off at the Salt Lake Stadium on October 12 when Atletico de Kolkata host Mumbai City FC in the inaugral match of the tournament.

The side from Kolkata has revealed the list of Indian players which the franchise has recruited: Sanju Pradhan, Kingshuk Debnath, Lester Fernandez, Subhasish Roy Chowdhury, Baljit Sahni, Climax Lawrence, Nalappan Mohanraj, Arnab Mondal, Mohammed Rafique,  Rakesh Masih, Cavin Lobo, Biswajit Saha and Denzil Franco.

They also announced the signing of three players, Ethiopia’s Fikru Teferra, Botswana’s midfielder Ofentse Nato and Spanish goalkeeper Basilio Sancho during the press conference.

The team will play four friendly matches on their tour of Spain where they will have a month-long pre season training from next week. The Los Angeles de San Rafael training ground in Segovia where the side will train is also home for Champions League runnes up and La Liga Champions Atletico Madrid.

The Indian players will leave for Spain on August 25 where they will be joined by the international recruits including marquee signing Luis Garcia in the first week of September.
