As per the latest reports, Atletico Madrid are looking to sign Juventus star striker Carlos Tevez this summer. The 31-year old has been in sensational form last season but wants to leave Juvenus this summer.

The Argentine helped Juventus to a league and cup double but he has insisted that he will not renew his contract this summer. Tevez has been heavily linked to move to Premier League this summer as he has drawn interest from all the top sides in England.

However, Atletico Madrid are considered favorites to sign him this summer as Diego Simeone recently confirmed the club’s interest in the player. Reports suggest that the talks between Atletico Madrid and Tevez are in advanced stage.

Atletico Madrid are currently looking for a quality striker as their main striker Mario Mandzukic is expected to leave Vicente Calderon this summer. Tevez has been in sensational form for Juventus as he scored 29 goals for the Old Lady this season.

Tevez has earlier confirmed that he would move back to Argentina to play for Boca Juniors but recent reports suggest that Atletico Madrid will seal the deal this summer.
